Arabian Adventure
Falcons, racing camels and wind-carved dunes on the edge of the Abu Dhabi desert.
Three of the oldest Emirati traditions, in one half-day east of the city. It starts at the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital, where vets care for the birds that falconry is built on, and where you may hold one on a glove. Next is the camel track at Al Wathba, where racing camels train in the cooler hours. The tour ends among the Al Wathba Fossil Dunes, sand ridges that salt and wind have hardened into sculpture. The Land Cruiser does the desert part properly, and your guide does the rest.
