Sunset at the Al Qudra desert lakes, then Downtown Dubai lit up after dark.
Two faces of Dubai in one afternoon. The first is the desert: the Al Qudra Lakes, a chain of lakes among the dunes south of the city where swans, geese and migrating birds gather and the sun goes down over open sand. The second is the city: after dark you stop at the Museum of the Future, lit up on Sheikh Zayed Road, and finish in Burj Park beneath the Burj Khalifa as the Dubai Fountain show begins.
